Topcon Healthcare announce TGA listing for GAIA

Brisbane, Australia —  4 Aug 2026: Topcon Healthcare, a global leader in diagnostic devices and digital healthcare solutions for eye care, is pleased to announce TGA listing for GAIA, a fully automated ultra-widefield retinal imaging device offering a 209° field of view in a single capture. Designed to deliver true-colour ultra-widefield fundus imaging with exceptional ease, GAIA offers automated alignment, non-contact, non-mydriatic operation on a compact, user-friendly platform.

“GAIA represents Topcon’s response to the increasing prevalence of retinal disease that requires a wider field of view than the traditional fundus cameras, enabling better visualisation of the peripheral retina, which may support early disease detection and management,” says Hideyuki Takizawa, President, Eye Care Business Division, Topcon.
