YAG Lasers
Topcon has the exclusive distribution rights of the ARC YAG Q-LAS-D laser systems, delivery devices, and disposable probes to be sold through its strong networks in the Asia Pacific and key EMEA regions.

Designed for longevity and accuracy
The Q-LAS-D is a State-of-the-Art Capsulotomy Laser with Advanced Q-switched Laser technology that gives precise control over the energy output, and the Q-LAS-D is designed for longevity.

The combination of short pulse duration, high peak energy, and wavelength selectivity gives an ultra-quick treatment, minimising heat transfer and thereby minimising damage to the surrounding area, giving better patient satisfaction with fewer side effects
This state-of-the-art capsulotomy laser with advanced Q-switched laser technology gives precise energy output.
Monitor and adjust energy levels seamlessly with the optional Heads-up display, ensuring constant awareness of the delivered pulse energy in the microscopic field.

CITO 532, SLT-LASER FOR EFFECTIVE GLAUCOMA THERAPY
The A.R.C. Cito 532 is a specialised ophthalmic laser system designed primarily for Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), a gentle treatment for glaucoma, giving precision and efficiency in treating the anterior segment conditions.
Its "low-level laser beams" are used to stimulate the trabecular meshwork in the eye, which can help reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in a natural way.
The Cito 532 is recognized for its high repetition rate, thanks to its Rapid-Trigger-Mode (RTM) or Quick-Repetition technology (>10 Hz). This allows for quicker treatment procedures. It also boasts high pulse-to-pulse stability (less than 2% deviation) for reproducible and reliable treatment outcomes. The system is designed for a theoretically unlimited lifetime without energy loss over its lifecycle.
- Homogeneous spot quality: Ensuring even energy distribution for safe and effective treatment.
- User-friendly operation: Typically featuring a touchscreen interface and joystick for control.
- Safety features: Such as no high voltage inside the laser head, no UV light on the cavity, and sharp selective safety filters for true color and detailed resolution during procedures.
- Ergonomic design: Often integrated with a slit lamp (like the PCL5 Z), with considerations for wheelchair accessibility and spacious legroom. Some models offer an optional head-up display showing selected treatment power.
- Optical quality: Specially coated optics with options for parallel or convergent tubes provide a detailed view of the anterior segment.
COBRA -COMPACT Dual Laser
Latest generation COMPACT Dual Laser but two independent laser cavities for a prolonged lifetime, it's The fastest SLT laser is combined with the fastest Yag laser due to diode pumping, This dual capability makes it a versatile tool for ophthalmologists, addressing various conditions in the anterior segment of the eye.
The ARC COBRA laser system provides ophthalmology practices with a comprehensive solution for both SLT glaucoma therapy and Nd:YAG laser procedures from a single device.
The Nd:YAG component, typically operating at a wavelength of 1064 nm, is used for procedures such as capsulotomy (e.g., after cataract surgery) and iridotomy (for certain types of glaucoma). It is characterized by its precise focusing capabilities.
The SLT component, utilizing a Q-switched, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser at 532 nm, is designed for the gentle treatment of open-angle glaucoma. It employs µ-chip technology, which contributes to a homogeneous spot, stable energy output, and a high repetition rate (often cited as > 10 Hz), enabling fast and efficient treatments. This technology also aims for a long operational lifetime without significant energy loss.
Key features:-
- Space-saving design: Integrating two lasers into one unit is efficient for clinical space.
- Ergonomics: Features like wheelchair accessibility and electronically adjustable height enhance usability.
- User Interface: Typically includes a touchscreen for managing treatment parameters.
- Optical Quality: Designed with high-resolution optics for a clear view of the treatment area.
- Independent Laser Cavities: Though combined in one system, the lasers are often described as independent, which can contribute to a prolonged service life.
