BCLA Clinical Conference & Exhibition is returning this year
Joins us at the BCLA Conference 2025 - Stand 41
With an active and accessible learning programme the BCLA prides itself in supporting and developing its members professionally and educationally, globally. BCLA provides members with a continual stream of relevant information, access to a range of high-quality resources and events, as well as the opportunity to communicate with others involved with contact lenses and ocular surface, whatever their role. Through the process of knowledge sharing, education and networking, BCLA brings expertise from the world of academia and research into the world of the Eye Health Professionals, for the benefit of their patients. A number of CPD events are run throughout the year including this Clinical Conference & Exhibition and as usual, Topcon will be supporting BCLA education with a range of equipment from its portfolio for some of their workshop. Topcon will also be sponsoring The Diane Gould Photographic competition and Myopia Management Practitioner award and of course we will be exhibiting too.

Product Focus at BCLA
Advanced Imaging with Topcon Slit Lamps
Topcon’s range of slit lamps integrates cutting-edge features designed to enhance clinical observation and documentation. The use of LED illumination provides a brighter, more uniform light compared to traditional halogen sources, maintaining consistent colour temperature even as light intensity is adjusted. The shorter wavelength of LED light improves visualization of the eye’s transparent and delicate anterior segment structures.
Equipped with high-resolution multi-megapixel digital cameras, Topcon slit lamps enable the capture of exceptionally detailed still images and video. This advanced imaging capability is essential for identifying subtle abnormalities and tracking changes over time.
For targeted assessment of dry eye disease, the optional BG-5M accessory provides dedicated observation and documentation of the meibomian glands—an essential tool for accurate diagnosis and effective management.
Topcon DRI OCT Triton – Swept Source OCT with Anterior Segment Imaging
The Topcon DRI OCT Triton, the world’s first Swept Source OCT, delivers advanced, versatile imaging capabilities for comprehensive eye care. Now featuring optional anterior segment imaging, Triton enables high-resolution, cross-sectional visualisation of key structures including the cornea, anterior chamber angle, iris, and anterior sclera.
This powerful enhancement supports detailed quantitative analysis, assisting clinicians in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of anterior segment conditions. The addition of this feature reinforces Triton’s position as a multi-purpose diagnostic platform, delivering detailed, data-rich reports that enhance clinical decision-making in today’s demanding eye care environments.
Topcon MYAH – One Device, Multiple Applications
Topcon MYAH is a compact, cost-effective, multifunctional instrument designed to support dry eye assessment, myopia management, and anterior segment evaluation—all in one device.
MYAH combines biometry, corneal topography, keratometry, and pupillometry with advanced anterior segment analysis. It provides accurate measurements of axial length, corneal curvature, and corneal diameter, making it an essential tool for diagnosing and monitoring progressive myopia in children.
Whether you're managing dry eye disease or tracking myopic progression, MYAH streamlines your workflow and maximises clinical value without compromising space or budget.
